Short Description

GIZ is partnering with BMUV to implement the global project “Environmental Protection Worldwide” on behalf of BMUV. The project aims to export Germany’s know-how and support environmental protection worldwide. It is implemented in partner countries like Jordan, Ukraine, India, Thailand, and Malaysia, supporting key environmental solutions like circular economy and sustainable production.

Learning Objectives

  • Understand the goals and scope of the “Environmental Protection Worldwide” project and its relevance to global environmental challenges.
  • Explore how Germany’s environmental expertise, including circular economy principles and sustainable production methods, can be applied in micro-business contexts.
  • Identify country-specific environmental challenges and opportunities for micro-business engagement in partner regions.
  • Develop strategies to align micro-business operations with international sustainability initiatives and contribute to global environmental goals.
